Proposals for the Inverness Way Drainage System Improvements project will be received by City of Easley(OWNER) located at P.O. Box 466 / 205 North First Street, Easley, SC 29640 until 2:00 PM on Thursday, 12/19/2024, and then, at said place and time, publicly opened and read aloud.
Composition of work is as follows:
Inverness Way Drainage System Improvements
The proposed project consists of installing catch basins and approximately 400’ of HDPE stormwater pipes between 214 and 216 Inverness Way, across the road, and between 215 & 217 Inverness Way with a flared end section at the discharge point in the rear northwestern corner of the property at 215 Inverness Way. Work will also include the removal of several trees and repaving Inverness Way.

A highly encouraged non-mandatory pre-proposal conference will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 2:00 PM.
The City of Easley reserves the right to waive any irregularities and/or the right to reject any and/or all proposals.
No proposal may be withdrawn within ninety (90) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
For work costing $5,000 or more, the contractor must be qualified under the provisions of the South Carolina General & Mechanical Contracting Act of 2001, Chapter 11 – Title 40, as amended. Where a mechanical subcontract amounts to $5,000 or more, the subcontractor shall be licensed under the same act.
