This notice is to the citizens residing inside the incorporated municipal boundaries of the City of Easley.

Registered voters who have lived in and have been a resident of the municipality and/or ward for a period of not less than 30 days immediately preceding the date of this election may file as a candidate beginning at noon on Monday, July 21, 2025, until filing closes at noon on Friday, August 1, 2025.  Candidates will file with the City Clerk during normal business hours (Monday through Friday).  At the time of filing, each candidate must submit a Statement of Candidacy form and pay the filing fee.  Candidate filing forms (nonpartisan) are available at https://SCVotes.gov under the “Candidates” tab or will be provided by the City of Easley at the time of filing.

Candidates are also required to file an electronic Statement of Economic Interest form and Campaign Disclosure form with the SC State Ethics Commission on their website:  https://ethics.sc.gov.   


The City of Easley recently completed a redistricting of the six wards and new voter registration cards will be arriving in the mail for registered voters.  You can go to https://SCVotes.gov to verify the ward that you reside in.


Register to vote, check your voter registration, update your voter registration address, find your polling location, and view your sample ballot at https://SCVotes.gov
